Charlotte Bronte
(1826-1855) English novelist and poet, the eldest of the three Brontë sisters, whose novels are English literature standards. The 3rd of 6 children, When her mother died young, she and 3 of her sisters were sent to a boarding school, the poor conditions of which highly affected their health. Shortly after, 2 of her sisters died of Tuberculosis and their brother of Bronchitis. A year after getting married, She died together with her unborn child. Her masterpeice "Jane Eyre", had sparked a movement in regards to feminism in literature.
