Philippa Gregory
(1954-) She is an English historical novelist who has been writing since 1987. She was Born in Kenya and moved with her family to Englandwhen she was 2 years old. She earned a doctorate in literature. "Other Boleyn Girl" was adapted into a movie of the same name starring Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman and in 2002, won the Romantic Novel of the Year Award from the Romantic Novelists' Association. Some of Gregory's writing has faced controversy due to lack of historical accuracy, particularly those set in the Tudor Age.
